Today on 19:15 GMT the FOMC decision on interest rate changу will be released. While the rate certainly will be raised by 0.25% today, it is also very importonat what comments will follow today's rate decision. Anyway, I expect a very volatile market around the time of FOMC meeting, it will be a good idea to place stop orders on the range breakout borders for EUR/USD and wait for some panic :-)

I've added the information about two new brokers to the Forex brokers section of my site.
First is the Realtime Forex - not very interesting one, but good for newbies which want to learn with a serious broker while not worrying about money transfer or the order execution problems. For a more expert traders this broker might be not very suitable though.
Second is the ACM - one of the leading companies in the Forex area, along with SaxoBank, FXCM and GFT. Starting account size minimum of $5,000 suggests that this broker is for very serious traders only, but it also gives a hint of very nice liquidity which is vital when trading with a big account.

Looks like the day began with the dollar giving up its positions. No real reasons for this, in my opinion, just a technical correction before the further consolidation. There will be some important U.S. economic news later today, which are expected to be quite positive.

Here is the link with which you can download very cool Pivot Point Calculator:
http://www.goforex.net/Pivot%20Calculator.zip
It is has very small size and is very easy to use. To get more info about pivot points in the forex trading you can read some articles on my site and some forex e-books. In a short way - pivot points are the special price levels on which the trend and its direction can be defined.

Just wanted to warn you all fellow traders and trader-wannabes, about a site I've found recently. It's called Pip Forex (http://www.pip-forex.com) and it is a Forex broker (at least it tries to look like one). I'd recommend staying away from this one. It is aimed on newbies, but it doesn't have a demo account. So you need to transfer money to them before even trying out their 'special' trading system. Another problem is the abundance claims about how easy it is to make money on Forex, especially if you use their software and broker services (of course!). Maybe my opinion is biased with this Pip Forex broker, but I just felt that I need to warn those who are thinking about using their services. It's the first online Forex broker which I didn't add to my Forex borkers list.

I've missed some good entry points for today's trading (especially on EUR/USD). USD got a lot of strength after the good news on Iran today which caused a slight downfall in the Oil price. I've also found an interesting free forex signals site - http://www.forexmastermaker.com/tradecalls.htm. Not very helpful, but good for beginners to get some basic information on what's going on the Market.
